The Centre aims to:

  • Develop independent, motivated and confident pupils, who are able to access all potential learning opportunities.
  • Build upon a learning environment, which is both secure and exciting, encouraging high expectations from pupils and staff.
  • Raise standards in literacy numeracy in line with the National Literacy and Numeracy strategies
  • Continue to develop programmes of study, which are clearly structured, yet able to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Build upon and develop closer partnerships with identified schools.
  • Provide frequent opportunities for pupil success.
  • Develop a range of mentor accreditation schemes for volunteer staff.
