Welcome to the website of the School Improvement Division Early Years Advisory Team.
We hope that the information and links you find here will be helpful and informative to any settings that provide childcare and education for children aged 0-5 years. Our aim is to promote the development of settings in order to ensure excellent learning experiences for all 0-5 year olds in Staffordshire.
What we do:
- Provide up to date information about all current Early Years issues and initiatives.
- Provide advice and support for all Early Years personnel across the county.
- Visit settings to advise on Early Years issues and support both pre and post Ofsted.
- Provide practical input for the development of good practice.
- Offer comprehensive training both centrally and locally in each of the eight Staffordshire districts.
- Offer a network of district cluster groups to enhance training and encourage the sharing of expertise and good practice.
- Work closely with other professionals involved in the care and education of young children.
