PHELILA: Peter Hall Excellence in Languages and International Links Award
As a tribute to his work and to celebrate the excellent contribution made by colleagues, past and present, to Languages and International Links during the time Peter served as Adviser at various levels in Staffordshire (1982-2010), the PHELILA has been created. Intended for any colleague deemed by their peers to have made a significant contribution to what Peter referred to as "LiL" work, nominations for the award are invited. The awards will be presented to successful nominees at a ceremony to be held at Shugborough Hall on the evening of 20th February from 18.00-20.00. Peter's immediate family, Sharon his wife and his son and daughter Tom and Liz will be present. Full details, which have been circulated to schools, can be found using the link below. If you, or any of your colleagues, know of any body you feel it would be appropriate to nominate please do so. There may be capacity for colleagues not concerned in the Award itself to attend should they wish. We will not know for certain if this will be possible until the number of nominations has been determined. But if you would like to attend please let us know and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
