West Midlands Global Student Forum, held in Staffordshire 16th March 2012

'Dying for life' an interactive student conference led by students for students! Full report available via the navigation bar on 'The Student Council' link.

The conference was aimed at students in years 10, 11, 12 and 13 who had a keen interest in global and ethical issues. This conference supported work which students were undertaking in RE, PSHE and Citizenship. It also provided challenge to gifted and talented groups. Students attending left the conference inspired, well equipped and resourced to deliver their own conference/assemblies/lessons with a view to making a difference in their own school and wider communities.

Students attending viewed a high quality interactive presentation, engaged with an MP and with faith/community groups and took part in several workshops throughout the day.
