We are responsible for ensuring that the early years and childcare needs of families in Staffordshire are met. This means working with children, parents and carers to develop a real understanding of the issues that they face and then creating and implementing effective strategies which will meet their needs.
Our Staffordshire Parent Direct service gives information to parents and carers, we have a range of support, training, advice and funding for childcare providers and early education services throughout Staffordshire.
What we do:
- Help create new childcare and early education places
- Recruit and train childcare staff
- Support special needs childcare and early education
- Offer funding and support to childcare providers
- Support childcare businesses and their staff
- Staffordshire Parent Direct provide information and advice on all manner of childcare and family issues to parents and carers and providers across Staffordshire
