Information Service
Governor Services offer an Information and Advice Service.
The Information and Advice Service is support for governing bodies who do not purchase the core clerking service and provide their own clerk. The service cover the provision of:
- Advice on a termly basis about those items that governors are legally required to consider (e.g. school admissions).
- Information about the Directorate for Children, Young People and Families (formerly Children & Lifelong Learning) items to be considered, including sufficient copies of relevant documents for distribution to Governors.
- Access to our telephone helpline on governor related issues.
The cost of the Information and Advice Service for 2009/2010 is £220.
For the academic year 2010/2011 the cost of the Information and Advice Service will be £270.
