Details of the required agreement between schools and the County Council that allows schools to repay any revenue deficit balance over a period not exceeding five years, rather than having to meet the full repayment of the deficit in the following financial year.
Staffordshire Scheme for Financing Schools
The scheme sets out the financial relationship between the County Council and the maintained schools that it funds. It contains requirements relating to financial management and associated issues, which are binding on both the County Council and all community, nursery, voluntary, foundation, community special or foundation special schools maintained by the County Council.
