Staffordshire Pupils Film Dance Project
Local boys from Staffordshire Schools have been taking part in the Cultural Olympiad - Dancing For The Games project in the run up to the Olympic Games.
The project aims to feature 45 schools and youth groups from across the Midlands to create six dance films.
Staffordshire schools who have taken part are:
- Sir Graham Balfour School
- Wilnecote High School
- Dosthill Primary
- St. Michael's Primary, Lichfield
The title for the project is "The Quiet Man Suite" which looks at how an individual can affect change. Staffordshire's pupils have filmed "Black Water" which has a particular focus on an individual overcoming fear and isolation in order to accomplish their goal.
Filming took place in various locations on Wednesday 23 May, Friday 25 May and Monday 28 May and the finished version will be shown at venues hosting Olympic events throughout the UK.
