26th Jan, 11:33am...COLLECT is still running at Peak Capacity and is subsequently very slow. While the file is uploading, you can always minimise your Internet Explorer window and get on with something else.
25th Jan, 3:23pm...COLLECT is running at Peak Capacity at the moment - and files are very slow to upload. Remember the deadline is not until Wednesday 27th January.
25th Jan, 12:14pm...COLLECT is running a little slow at the moment - it is taking quite a while for files to upload, so a little bit of patience is required!!
25th Jan, 11am...COLLECT is running well this morning. Please remember you need to upload the file and then Submit the return once the status of your data return shows Loaded and Validated (you may need to log on again later to Submit depending on how busy the site is.)
22nd Jan, 10:32am...COLLECT is slightly slower this morning, but still running fairly well.....
21st Jan, 4:08pm...101 schools have now submitted or loaded their returns - thanks to everyone for your hard work!!!.....
21st Jan, 1pm...COLLECT is still running well - in many cases you can Submit your return straight away....
21st Jan, 10:03am....COLLECT is now live for Staffordshire schools and seems to be running smoothly at the moment....
Please note that COLLECT will not be available for Staffordshire schools until 10am.....

with a return date to us of
Wednesday 27th January 2010
**SCHOOL CENSUS - KNOWN ERRORS**
The following errors are appearing incorrectly in some cases:
1070 (Number of teachers in class is missing) - If you have a class with no teachers (for example, if the teacher is on PPA time), this error will probably appear and can be ignored provided you are happy your data is accurate.
1740 (Pupil's free school meals eligibility indicator missing or invalid) - This error is appearing incorrectly in some cases for leavers. Please check all information for the pupil concerned (e.g. Ethnicity, Language etc.) If this information is correct, you can ignore this error.
1925 (Pupil no longer on roll is not required) - This error is appearing incorrectly in some cases for leavers who have exclusions in the summer term. If you are happy that all data for this pupil is correct, you can ignore this error.
Please note however that this error is also appearing for valid reasons (usually alongside error 2510) and will need to be corrected if this is the case. Please ring a member of the Database Team if you are unsure about this error.
All other failures (F) must be corrected before you send the return to the Database Team. Queries (Q) are acceptable as long as you are sure your data is accurate.
