In the following pages/links you will see some of the benefits of being a member of the Staff Club as well as details of some of the exclusive offers available to all employees.
This is an ideal medium for effective communication and one which we will continue to develop further in the future.
We at the Staff Club realise that although the council is one authority, it comprises a variety of different departments and sections, encompassing a whole host of talents and needs.
Our "core" is in our Eastgate Street premises, in which we have invested heavily over the last 12 months with more still to come. Centrally located to most departments in Stafford (at the junction of Martin Street and Eastgate Street) we are open and ready to serve your needs; whether that be for a lunch in your working week, or for a meeting place in the evening.
We also offer meeting rooms for departmental needs as well as being a base for many sports and social functions, using our playing fields at Shugborough for football, cricket and the like as well as our newly constructed bowling green at the Silkmore Lane site. Other venues are used for table tennis and badminton.
The Club offers a relaxing environment whether at lunchtime or in the evening (open every evening from 7.30 ideal for a pre or post theatre drink!). We have worked hard in the last year to upgrade our facilities, come and visit us!
